Woke up and started packing a little for tomorrow. Went over to Tom's for breakfast and checked email. Jason wrote me a sweet email. We then walked around the neighborhood and the park. Saw a 62 year old man doing tai chi and the splits and somersaults. We ate lunch and then sorta just hung out...downtime. I went and checked my email again and wrote many back over at Karen's. She lives one level below where we are. She's been here for 6 months and just learning the language. I came up and rested a little, read a little and watched some TV, which is hilarious because of the soap operas on, all in Chinese, of course, but also set a long time ago. So everything is in period costume and people singing opera...funny. Funny infomercial about a vibrating machine to loosen up the fat. I flipped through the channels and found one that was just music. Some contemporary but mostly classical. The song I landed on was Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here, which made me wish Jason was with me on this trip. We both like Pink Floyd and it was an apt song.

We're supposed to go out tonight. We'll see what we do!!!

4pm Took a cab to Jane and Joseph's apartment. They are relatively new believers. Very cute couple. They have an 18 month old girl and another one on the way. We had some fried octopus legs that were like popcorn shrimp. Good stuff. What else....It's actually Tuesday morning (2am) and I have to catch up on my journal entries.
