Destination: Tianjin

Got up and took the Tibet group to to the airport and saw them off. Tianjin group hopped a bus and rode for 2.5 hours We arrived and took an exciting taxi ride. No rules!! Bikes everywhere!! People everywhere!! Dirty too. But people make the effort to clean. Got a lot of stares and pointing. Large buildings - modern but also a lot of old buildings. Sensory overload. Got our bags put up in the apartments. Very nice!! Went down for lunch and walked around a bit. Went to the open market and saw some interesting things. Meat, veggies, pasteries... It was sorta rainy and misty so there was a lot of mud. Just walked around to see where Tom lives. Around 7:30 Tom and I went to a group meeting with other foreigners. I checked my email but no news of job. : Went to sleep.
